I hope no one minds this posting of my problem. If belongs in a different forum please move me or advice where I can move / post this? I value / appreciate any help/ feedback.

I have been playing with cryptocurrencies for over a month, and made a bit of money. My funds seem to be stuck in hitbtc over $1600. My support ticket to them said

"""I tried to move my 13.2 neo coins to my own wallet and it said I cannot withdraw. Panicking I converted to ETH-still could not withdraw into mny coinpayments account. Panicking I converted to BTC and tried to move the funds to my blockchain account, it just says insufficient funds as it did in case of ETH. I have over $1600 and that is not too small a balance for a withdrawal. ARE YOU GOING TO CHEAT ME
"""

Here are the screenshots showing NEO could not be withdrawn from hitbtc

Here are the screenshots showing BTC could not be withdrawn from hitbtc

Please do not be angry I posted here. Any advice,or where to seek advice appreciated

PS hitbtc has someone who says he is a cancer patient who needs the money but they are not releasing it

When it comes to HitBTC, or any exchange for that matter, I would strongly recommend you have Email Verification for Withdrawals turned on Two Factor Authentication enabled. I cannot stress this enough. This allows two forms of verification to expedite your withdrawals. In all my experience, no further verification is needed when you have this setup.

Unfortunately for you, HitBTC is extremely backed up right now when it comes to answering support tickets. I have heard some good and bad about HitBTC and every other exchange out there. The challenge right now is these exchanges are experiencing unprecedented growth, and they cannot keep up with the demand.

On HitBTC, go to your Accounts Page and scroll to the bottom. There you will see your pending withdrawals. When you hover your mouse over the question mark icon, you will see a popup that will show your Transaction Hash. Click that to see the status of your transaction. If you want additional help, post up a URL link to that transaction please.

Dear Evo Thanks for the kind feedback. My question is whether they will scam anyone and whether the blockchains by the way the are constructed allow a high degree of safety as long as no one accesses your account. The question is whether these exchanges themselves are able to cheat a client. I have made some progress since last night. My transaction was not going through because I had to move into the main account but the bitcoins were in the trading account. I have finally been able to see my withdrawal in the history of hitbtc which had loading issues since the morning. My transaction hash is
560b58a33f380b87940917790f046026d269202c8636c9bf842e6af80064a828 . I hope it gets done in 1-2 days? I have been using 2 step authentication with google authenticator. The URL is
https://blockchain.info/tx/560b58a33f380b87940917790f046026d269202c8636c9bf842e6af80064a828
It says transaction not found.

I have time-stamped screenshots of the withdrawal which shows I entered my recipient bitcoin address correctly-it is one of the addresses in my blockchain
account. I used 2 step auth with google authenticator and have email I clicked to confirm the withdrawal which is also time-stamped. This proves i withdrew from hitbtc at that time to that address, and screenshot confirming hitbtc has registered the withdrawal, the amount etc are the as in the email I confirmed .
Only the transaction hash is not found on blockchain and my recipient bitcoin address is showing no signs of pending. What is the sender (hitbtc) bitcoin address- I feel it is unique -only one address provided to me -which may or may be shared with other hitbtc users. I have got this address as well and it is showing NO transactions today -showing an unconfirmed withdrawal of 70 BTC yesterday- and that is not me.

I need to post here that I am having similar problems. I Cannot withdraw any currency from HitBTC because email authentication does not arrive to my address. Its been over 1 week now and All i get is an automated response from support with ticket numbers!?!? #284734. What makes this so much worse is all the terrible thing on the internet people say about HitBTC. How is it possible that an exchange easily in the top 5-10 in the world can ignore their customers like this?

I have both email confirmations and 2FA. I didnt actually request email verification. Its a prerequisite. For me, 2FA would be enough.
