Ledger Wallet now supports Ripple (XRP)

Ledger Wallet is now the first hardware wallet solution to support Ripple (XRP).

With the addition of XRP, Ledger’s hardware wallets are now supporting 10 cryptocurrencies:
  • Bitcoin
  • Ripple
  • Ethereum
  • Ethereum Classic
  • Dogecoin
  • Litecoin
  • Zcash
  • Dash
  • Stratis
  • Komodo.

Celebrating the latest major price rally on XRP, and due to high demand, we are excited to announce immediate availability of XRP support of all Nano S and Blue units.

Features of using Ripple with a Ledger hardware wallet:
  • Ledger Wallet Ripple app is available for free for Windows, Mac OS, Linux. It runs flawlessly with your Ledger device (Nano S & Blue).
  • All Ledger Apps are fully open source, so anyone can access the full source code to authenticate code paths and contribute to the development.
  • Ledger Wallet Ripple makes it easy to manage your account, send and receive funds, check the balance and get a glimpse of your transactions.
  • Ripple sensitive operations (signatures) are done inside the device’s Secure Element, never online or on your computer. Your assets are never exposed.
